TechFlow reported, according to Cointelegraph, that the blockchain gaming project Illuvium will launch on the Epic Games Store on November 28.
Illuvium is an interoperable blockchain game developed by Illuvium Labs. The game is built using Unreal Engine 5 on the Immutable X network.
Prior to the Epic launch, Illuvium co-founder Kieran Warwick said, "The result of these efforts is not only securing Illuvium a spot on a leading gaming platform but also enhancing our product."
The beta release on Epic Games will feature three distinct game types within the Illuvium universe.
These include "Overworld," an open-world exploration and creature-collecting game reminiscent of beloved classic titles; "Arena" and "Zero," auto-battler strategy games; and a mobile and desktop city-building game connected to the broader Illuvium ecosystem. Warwick noted that their approach of building diverse genres and gameplay modes aims to attract a broader spectrum of gamers.
