TechFlow reported, Fox Business journalist Eleanor Terrett posted on X stating that Patrick McHenry, Chairman of the U.S. House Committee on Financial Services, criticized SEC Chair Gary Gensler for failing to respond to regulatory inquiries.
Patrick McHenry said: "You have taken no action to address bipartisan, legitimate concerns. This is shameful. Our patience is running out."
McHenry warned Gensler that if he continues to ignore regulatory requests, a subpoena will be issued. McHenry added: "I don't think you want to be the first SEC Chair to receive a congressional subpoena."
