TechFlow News — Salvo Games, a Web2.5 gaming service platform, has completed a $1.5 million pre-seed funding round on September 10. The round was led by a renowned game producer from a leading Asian publicly listed gaming company, whose major title launched 17 years ago still maintains a dedicated global fanbase and holds significant recognition within the traditional gaming industry.
Both parties stated that this collaboration will combine their respective strengths, jointly leverage resources, and focus on expanding into the Web3.0 space. The project’s strategic initiatives will include: development and partnership for high-quality games across multiple genres, platform empowerment and innovation, developer pipeline construction, and building platforms for player asset trading and management.
Sources indicate that Salvo’s core team is primarily based in Asia, the Middle East, and Australia, with key members possessing over seven years of combined experience in both traditional gaming and blockchain technology. Its in-house game studio has already completed the first community Alpha test for Ace3, its debut casual MOBA竞技 title, and plans to launch the Beta version for open testing in Q4.
During Token2049 Singapore, Salvo Games CEO Bill will join as a panel speaker at the event “GMA - W Labs Web3 Gaming Summer,” co-hosted by GMA and Wlabs. Bill will further introduce and discuss Salvo’s innovations and project progress with fellow industry guests attending the event.
