TechFlow news — On August 31, a community proposal vote (Proposal #821) is underway in the Cosmos community, planning for a v12 upgrade. This upgrade includes enabling the Liquid Staking Module (LSM), designed to replace the existing staking, distribution, and slashing modules, aiming to improve network liquidity and unlock millions of dollars worth of ATOM tokens for use across DeFi activities on various chains within the Cosmos ecosystem. The voting will continue until September 8.
As of now, 99.8% of participants have voted in favor of this new upgrade, but the required quorum has not yet been reached.
