TechFlow News — Optimism has announced the launch of Superchain Faucet, a testnet faucet powered by a reputation system. Developers can leverage on-chain reputation data to receive up to 20 times more testnet ETH than standard amounts, enabling more efficient project testing and iteration within the Optimism ecosystem. The Superchain Faucet supports social verification via GitHub, as well as on-chain identity verification.
Currently, Superchain Faucet supports OP Goerli and plans to expand to other OP Chains across the Superchain, including Base, ZORA NETWORK, PGN, and future Superchain partners. At present, it supports identity verification through the Optimist NFT and will add support for World ID in the future.
