TechFlow News — According to the official Twitter account, Yuga Labs' metaverse project Otherside has announced the launch of Koda NFT splitting and Vessel Claim. Only Otherdeeds that own a Koda can undergo splitting, but all Otherdeed holders are eligible to claim a Vessel NFT. It is recommended to complete the claiming process using a desktop browser. Both the Vessel Claim and NFT splitting will remain open indefinitely.
Additionally, after splitting, users' Otherdeed NFTs must be destroyed. Burning the original Otherdeed will generate one Koda NFT and one Otherdeed Expanded NFT without a Koda. Each NFT will exist within a new collection and operate independently. The Otherdeed Expanded NFT is key to unlocking future gaming experiences, including "Otherside: Legends of the Mara," as well as activations.
