TechFlow news — Deribit, a cryptocurrency derivatives exchange, announced on Twitter that after previously enabling withdrawals to Copper Clearloop and Cobo, it has now resumed Bitcoin, Ethereum, and USDC withdrawal services for users. Deribit stated that all hot wallets have been migrated to Fireblocks, and users need to generate new deposit addresses. If funds are sent to old addresses, asset recovery will still be possible manually, though it may take considerable time. All on-chain withdrawals currently require manual approval by Deribit administrators.
Additionally, Deribit mentioned that it has appointed an on-chain forensic firm to assist in tracking and recovering assets and liaising with global law enforcement agencies. No customer or account information was compromised.Original link
