TechFlow news, according to Techcabal, blockchain gaming platform Metaverse Magna (MVM) has announced a $3.2 million seed round raised through a token sale. The funding was backed by Wemade, Tess Ventures, LD Capital, Taureon, Gumi Cryptos Capital, HashKey, AFF, Polygon Studios, Casper Johansen (Spartan), and IndiGG. Founded in December 2021, MVM aims to engage Africa's 186 million gamers in blockchain gaming and build the continent’s largest local gaming DAO. Drawing inspiration from the P2E gaming guild model, MVM seeks to accelerate participation among African players in crypto games such as Axie Infinity and Pegaxy. To date, its products and community have attracted over 100,000 members.
