TechFlow news, July 18, according to the UK Financial Times, Trump Media & Technology Group (TMTG) is pitching the "Truth API" data service to potential clients, quoted at up to $100,000 per month, allowing proprietary trading firms, hedge funds, and other institutions to access content posted by US President Trump on Truth Social in machine-readable format at millisecond-level speed.
Trump frequently posts information related to tariffs, geopolitics, and listed companies via Truth Social, which has previously triggered price fluctuations in assets such as stocks and crude oil multiple times. Some market participants believe that if competitors access the service first, other trading institutions may be forced to purchase. It is currently unclear whether TMTG has signed any clients, and the company did not respond to requests for comment.
Previous news, Trump Media Group launched the paid data service "Truth API", selling the fastest access to Trump's posts to trading institutions.
