TechFlow reports, July 01, according to CoinDesk, Credit Agricole launched the stablecoin EURXT pegged 1:1 to the euro, issued on Ethereum by its asset servicing agency Caceis Bank, and compliant with the EU's Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA) regulation requirements.
Currently, the on-chain circulation is approximately 20 million tokens, backed 1:1 by euro reserves held by Caceis Bank. The stablecoin has been used to settle tokenized subscriptions for Amundi money market funds.
