TechFlow news, July 01, according to official announcements, the independent non-profit organization Ethereum Institutional announced its establishment, positioned as a neutral connector platform for institutions, aiming to accelerate institutional adoption of Ethereum, its Layer 2 networks, applications, and the overall ecosystem.
The organization stated that institutions often need to go through a series of long-term technical and business decisions when choosing blockchain infrastructure, therefore requiring an independent channel with credibility that can provide clear and unbiased information. Ethereum Institutional hopes to fill this gap, representing the broader Ethereum ecosystem to communicate directly with institutions.
Its founding team previously built the Ethereum Foundation's enterprise business from scratch, collaborating with hundreds of institutions including banks, asset management institutions, custodians, and market infrastructure participants. The new organization will work around five key directions, including: institutional collaboration, institutional research, Ethereum ecosystem and ETH market promotion, industry demand exploration, and organization of events and exchanges.
Ethereum Institutional currently receives support from initial funders such as BitMNR, Sharplink, and Joseph Lubin.
