TechFlow news, June 30, crypto KOL Ansem responded to the controversy sparked by the recent trend of launching "creator tokens." He stated that his previous judgment on celebrities participating in crypto projects was short-sighted, erroneously assuming that relevant individuals would follow similar ethical standards and would not harm the interests of a large number of supporters for short-term gains. He said that he is not a celebrity and has no intention to "cash out" users through the project, but hopes to expand attention to the crypto market in a way that is "net positive" for all parties.
Ansem stated that his idea is to attract new users into the crypto market through projects with speculative attributes, provide liquidity for high-risk traders during the near-bottom phase of the bear market, and further direct new attention to protocols and founding teams that are truly constructive. He cited Dogecoin and Bonk as examples, stating that the former once became a large-scale crypto entry event, while the latter boosted the Solana ecosystem during the period of low sentiment following the FTX collapse.
In addition, Ansem said that he entered the crypto industry in 2017 and resigned from his job as a software engineer in 2021. He is currently a co-founder of the trading application BullpenFi and operates a podcast with MarketBubble. He stated that in the past when supporting some high-risk tokens, he was often used by anonymous early holders to dump tokens by leveraging his influence; this is the first time he is discussing a project where he controls the majority of the supply and can decide its use independently.
