TechFlow reports that on June 29, Ethereum non-profit R&D organization Ethlabs released an FAQ stating that current funding commitments can support the team's operations for the next 2 to 3 years, and will continue to pursue subsequent financing, with the community funding round still open.
In terms of work priorities, Ethlabs revealed it is advancing plans around three major directions, including Ethereum mainnet scaling and confirmation efficiency optimization, the construction of a middleware layer between protocols and developers, and promoting the application of fast confirmation rules in mainstream Layer 2 networks and centralized exchanges.
Regarding the relationship with the Ethereum Foundation, Ethlabs emphasized that the two parties are in a complementary partnership and stated that its role is to provide additional R&D support for the Ethereum ecosystem.
