TechFlow News, June 16: Macquarie published a research report stating that Zhipu (02513.HK) has launched the GLM-5.2 model and rolled it out first to all subscribers of its GLM Coding Plan (Lite/Pro/Max/Team). Positioned as the company’s most powerful open-source model to date, GLM-5.2 focuses on long-horizon code generation, agent engineering, and complex system tasks.
Independent API access and pricing, along with MIT-licensed open-source model weights, are scheduled for release next week. Although no benchmark data was disclosed at launch, early community feedback from social media and developer forums has been highly positive—highlighting that GLM-5.2’s performance in coding and long-horizon agent tasks rivals that of Claude Opus 4.7. Macquarie views the launch of GLM-5.2 as a positive development that could strengthen the company’s pricing power in future subscription plans, thereby sustaining robust annual recurring revenue (ARR) growth. The firm maintains its “Outperform” rating on Zhipu, with its 12-month target price unchanged at HK$1,221.4. (Jinshi)
