TechFlow reports that on June 5, according to Bloomberg, Terry Duffy, CEO of CME Group, expressed being “very concerned” about perpetual futures contracts (“Perps”) that recently received U.S. regulatory approval. Duffy noted that perpetual futures have limited practical utility for institutional investors and may expose retail traders to excessive risk.
