TechFlow News, May 27: According to Axios, U.S. President Donald Trump has appointed former Attorney General Pam Bondi to an advisory committee focused on artificial intelligence policy. Bondi was recently dismissed by Trump from her role as Attorney General last month and will now join the President’s Council of Advisors on Science and Technology (PCAST).
The committee is co-chaired by David Sacks, former White House AI advisor, and Michael Kratsios, White House Chief Technology Officer. Its members include over a dozen tech executives, such as Jensen Huang, co-founder of NVIDIA; Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Meta; and Larry Ellison, co-founder of Oracle. Bondi is expected to facilitate coordination between the government and the tech giants represented on the committee. (Jinshi)
