TechFlow reports that, according to an official Federal Reserve announcement on May 23, Kevin Warsh was sworn in on May 22 as Chair and Member of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System; on the same day, the Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) unanimously elected him as Chair. Warsh was nominated by President Trump on March 4, 2026, confirmed by the Senate as a Board member on May 12, and confirmed as Chair on May 13. His term as Chair expires on May 21, 2030, and his term as Board member expires on January 31, 2040.
