TechFlow News, May 19: According to The Block, Checker—a stablecoin infrastructure startup serving institutional clients—has completed a combined pre-seed and seed funding round totaling $8 million. Galaxy Ventures, Al Mada Ventures, and Framework Ventures were the lead investors.
Checker stated that over the past 12 months, it has processed over $3 billion in transaction volume and serves more than 30 regulated financial institutions globally. The company plans to use the new capital to expand into Brazil, Kenya, Hong Kong, and the U.S. markets, and to launch settlement financing tools as well as AI agents for account onboarding, compliance assessment, and fund management.
