TechFlow reports that on May 11, according to an announcement on OpenAI’s official website, OpenAI officially launched the OpenAI Deployment Company—a new entity focused on helping enterprises build and deploy AI systems, integrating cutting-edge AI capabilities into critical business workflows. Concurrently, OpenAI announced its acquisition of Tomoro, an applied AI consulting and engineering firm. Tomoro will bring approximately 150 experienced Frontier Deployment Engineers (FDEs) and deployment specialists to the new company, with clients including major enterprises such as Tesco, Virgin Atlantic, and Supercell.
