TechFlow News, May 6: According to Decrypt, the Solana Foundation has partnered with Google Cloud to launch Pay.sh, enabling AI agents to pay for Google Cloud services and community API access on-demand using stablecoins on Solana. The service is built on the x402 protocol and supports the Machine Payments Protocol (MPP), jointly developed by Tempo and Stripe. It allows access to Google Cloud services such as Gemini, BigQuery, and Vertex AI, as well as blockchain infrastructure and data services including Helius, Alchemy, Dune Analytics, and Nansen. Reportedly, Pay.sh operates on a per-request billing model, meaning AI agents can invoke APIs without subscriptions or minimum spend requirements.
