TechFlow News, May 4: According to the Wall Street Journal, citing sources familiar with the matter, Anthropic plans to jointly establish a joint venture with several Wall Street institutions, investing a total of $1.5 billion. Anthropic, Blackstone Group, and Hellman & Friedman will each contribute $300 million, while Goldman Sachs will contribute $150 million.
The new company will assist private equity firms and their portfolio companies in integrating and adopting AI tools to enhance operational efficiency. Sources said the announcement is expected as early as Monday.
