TechFlow News, May 3: According to Tasnim News Agency, key details of Iran’s 14-point response to the U.S.’s 9-point proposal are as follows: 1) a guarantee against military aggression; 2) withdrawal of U.S. military forces stationed around Iran; 3) termination of maritime blockades; 4) unfreezing of Iran’s frozen assets; 5) payment of war reparations; 6) lifting of sanctions; 7) cessation of hostilities on all fronts, including Lebanon; and 8) establishment of a new mechanism for the Strait of Hormuz. While the U.S. proposed a two-month ceasefire, Iran confirmed that all issues must be resolved within 30 days—shifting the focus from extending the ceasefire to achieving a complete end to the war.
