The U.S. Department of Defense issued a statement today announcing agreements with seven leading artificial intelligence companies: SpaceX, OpenAI, Google, NVIDIA, Reflection, Microsoft, and Amazon Web Services (AWS). The statement said, “These agreements accelerate the military’s transformation, aiming to build a U.S. military force that is ‘AI-enabled’ and enhancing its ability to maintain decision superiority across all domains of warfare.”
