TechFlow News, April 23: According to Spain’s Ministry of the Interior, Spain’s National Police dismantled the largest illegal online manga distribution platform in the Spanish-speaking world in Almería. During the operation, authorities seized two USB devices hidden inside wall thermometers—containing cryptocurrency cold wallets valued at over €400,000. The report states that the platform had been distributing unauthorized manga content continuously since 2014, attracting several million monthly visitors and generating revenue through pop-up advertisements, with total earnings exceeding €4 million. Police have arrested three suspects, who are accused of ongoing intellectual property infringement.
