TechFlow News, April 22: According to Shanghai Cyberspace Administration, Tesla’s in-vehicle voice large language model service completed its official filing on April 20. The Science and Technology Innovation Board Daily learned from an informed source that Tesla’s in-vehicle voice service will integrate the Doubao large language model. Notably, Tesla China’s official website previously listed in its “Tesla In-Vehicle Voice Assistant Terms of Use” that the Model Y L will be equipped with both the Doubao and DeepSeek models, both integrated via VolcEngine. Specifically, the Doubao model will handle voice command functions—including navigation setup, media playback control, and air-conditioning temperature adjustment—as well as owner’s manual search; the DeepSeek model will provide AI interactive services.
