TechFlow News, April 21: Donald Trump’s super PAC, MAGA Inc., raised $35.6 million in March, bringing its campaign cash reserves to $550 million. Amid an increasingly challenging midterm election environment, Trump is attempting to buck historical trends and retain the Republican majority in Congress. According to a disclosure filing submitted by MAGA Inc. to the Federal Election Commission, longtime Republican donor Diane Hendricks—who delivered a speech at the Republican National Convention in 2024—contributed the bulk of the March haul, donating $25 million. Venture capitalists Marc Andreessen and Ben Horowitz each contributed $3 million.
The Yocha Dehe Wintun Nation, a California-based tribal organization, donated $2 million. A subsidiary of prison operator GEO Group Inc.—a federal contractor whose clients include U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE)—donated $1 million.
At the external group level, Republicans hold a clear advantage. Affiliated Republican House and Senate super PACs, along with Trump-aligned groups and MAGA Inc.’s super PAC—which are prohibited from directly coordinating with the campaign—had amassed a massive $853 million in cash reserves as of Monday’s filing deadline, far surpassing their Democratic counterparts.
