He said, “Hezbollah continues to launch attacks against Israel, which remains the primary obstacle to the peace process.” On the evening of April 10, Lebanon’s Presidential Palace issued a statement saying that Lebanon and Israel have agreed to hold their first meeting on April 14 at the U.S. Department of State to discuss announcing a ceasefire and setting a date for negotiations under U.S. auspices.
