CME Group Announces AVAX and SUI Futures Contracts Launching in May
According to CME Group, CME Group plans to launch Avalanche (AVAX) and Sui (SUI) futures contracts on May 4, 2026, pending regulatory approval. Both assets will be offered in standard and micro contract sizes: AVAX contracts will be for 5,000 and 500 AVAX, respectively, while SUI contracts will be for 50,000 and 5,000 SUI, respectively. The new contracts will join CME Group’s existing cryptocurrency derivatives suite, which already includes Cardano, Chainlink, and Stellar futures. Additionally, CME Group’s cryptocurrency futures and options will support 24/7 trading starting May 29.
