TechFlow News, April 2: According to The Block, live prediction market platform Pumpcade has raised $1 million in pre-seed funding, led by Pump.fun, with participation from Foundation Capital and angel investor RadioSolace. The funds will be used to expand the engineering team and advance go-to-market strategy in preparation for exiting the private beta phase.
Pumpcade enables users to create prediction markets with a single click directly within live chat streams, covering topics including cryptocurrency prices, stocks, sports events, and real-time traffic conditions. The platform compresses the entire lifecycle of a prediction market into 60 seconds to 30 minutes. For settlement, Pumpcade connects directly to official APIs or uses deterministic data sources, thereby reducing counterparty risk and eliminating dispute windows.
