TechFlow News: On March 26, according to an official announcement by Resolv Labs, the team has permanently removed approximately 46 million of the 80 million illegally minted USR tokens (about 57%) resulting from the unauthorized USR minting vulnerability incident that occurred on March 22, 2026. Specific measures include: • Approximately 9 million USR tokens were burned on the day of the incident via two transactions; • Approximately 36 million USR tokens held as wstUSR were blacklisted through a smart contract upgrade—due to on-contract restrictions, execution requires a 72-hour timelock; • The remaining USR tokens held by the attacker have been burned.
Currently, no unauthorized assets remain in the attacker’s addresses that can be transferred or redeemed. Additionally, on March 24, Resolv Labs sent an on-chain message to the attacker’s addresses, providing a pathway for fund recovery. The investigation remains ongoing.
