TechFlow News, March 26: According to an official announcement, Soneium blockchain’s co-developer Startale Group has completed a $63 million Series A funding round. This round was conducted in two tranches: the first tranche, led by Sony Innovation Fund in January 2026, amounted to $13 million; the second tranche, an additional $50 million investment by SBI Group, marked the completion of the round.
The proceeds from this funding round will be allocated toward advancing the following core business initiatives:
- Strium: An institutional-grade blockchain for tokenized securities and real-world asset (RWA) trading, establishing clearing and trading infrastructure for Asia’s on-chain capital markets;
- JPYSC and USDSC stablecoins: Expanding interoperability between fiat currencies and cryptocurrencies to support on-chain dividend distribution and yield payouts;
- Startale App: A super app integrating asset management, mini-programs, payments, and social features—delivering on-chain services to consumers built on the Soneium network.
