TechFlow News, March 20: At the Huawei China Partner Conference 2026, Zhou Yuefeng, Senior VP of Huawei and CEO of Huawei Cloud, announced that Huawei remains committed to open-sourcing its independently developed Pangu large models. All full-scale models have now been open-sourced, and multimodal models will soon follow. Huawei also embraces state-of-the-art (SOTA) models, with its Model-as-a-Service (MaaS) Tokens platform already integrated with over 160 mainstream industry models and offering differentiated capabilities for post-training. Huawei Cloud will launch additional industry-specific intelligent agents this year, including the enterprise-grade intelligent agent development platform AgentArts and the data intelligence agent DataArts. A series of “Lobsters”—intelligent agents targeting office productivity, coding, marketing, and other domains—is expected to be released in the second half of the year based on the AgentArts development platform.
