TechFlow reports that on March 18, according to official announcements, blockchain explorer Etherscan has officially launched its “Historical Proxy” tab feature. Users can now view the complete upgrade history of proxy contracts—including past implementation contract addresses and upgrade transaction records. This feature supports detection of upgrade events compliant with mainstream EIP standards.
Additionally, Etherscan has simultaneously optimized the verification process for proxy contracts. It now largely achieves automatic identification, eliminating the need for users to manually click “Is this a proxy?” in most cases—manual intervention is required only in edge cases.
