TechFlow News, March 17: According to a PR Newswire report, cross-border payment infrastructure provider Thunes announced that, by integrating with the SWIFT network, it has extended stablecoin settlement capabilities to 11,500 banks worldwide—enabling interoperability between traditional financial systems and digital assets. Enterprises and financial institutions can now settle stablecoin payments directly into bank accounts connected to SWIFT via Thunes’ network, eliminating the need for additional off-chain conversion processes. This solution aims to reduce frictional costs associated with cross-border payments and improve settlement efficiency.
