TechFlow News, March 17: According to TechCrunch, AI visual memory startup Memories.ai has announced a partnership with NVIDIA to build visual memory infrastructure for wearable devices and robots, leveraging NVIDIA’s Cosmos-Reason 2 vision-language model and Metropolis video search platform.
The company was co-founded by Shawn Shen and Ben Zhou—former members of Meta’s Ray-Ban glasses AI team—and was established in 2024. It has raised $16 million to date, led by Susa Ventures, with participation from Seedcamp, Fusion Fund, and Crane Venture Partners. The company launched its Large Visual Memory Model (LVMM) in July 2025 and has partnered with Qualcomm to deploy the model on Qualcomm processors later this year.
