TechFlow News: According to Douyin’s Blackboard Bulletin, as of March 10, Douyin has taken action against 42,000 pieces of AI-generated pornographic and vulgar content this year and imposed tiered penalties—including restricting recommendations, suspending comments, and account bans—on 14,000 accounts. Typical cases include: a cybercrime syndicate using AI to generate personas such as “single mothers tutoring children” for pornographic traffic diversion; four suspects were criminally detained. Additionally, 339 accounts used AI-generated images of attractive women to direct users to pornographic websites, and 8,421 accounts were penalized for continuously posting AI-generated borderline-content. Douyin stated it will proactively report suspected illegal activities to public security authorities and continue upgrading its governance technologies.
