Utexo Secures $7.5 Million in Funding, Led by Tether
Utexo, a blockchain payment infrastructure company, announced the completion of a $7.5 million seed funding round, co-led by Tether, Big Brain Holdings, and Portal Ventures, with participation from over ten institutions including Franklin Templeton, Maven11 Capital, and FlowTraders. By integrating Bitcoin, the Lightning Network, and the RGB protocol, Utexo provides payment operators with a single API interface to enable instant USDT settlement on Bitcoin’s native network—featuring fixed and predictable transaction fees, sub-one-second settlement times, and fully encrypted, private execution.
