TechFlow News, March 1: According to BlockBeats, Binance has internally issued a company-wide notice requiring all employees located in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to avoid outdoor activities and remain indoors to ensure personal safety.
In the UAE, the local Ministry of Defense stated that Iran launched 137 missiles and 209 drones across the entire UAE territory. Although most were intercepted by air defense systems, some struck their targets, resulting in casualties and infrastructure damage. Abu Dhabi International Airport (Zayed International Airport) was directly hit, causing one fatality and seven injuries; the departure hall at Dubai International Airport sustained damage, injuring four staff members. Flights at both Dubai airports have been suspended, leaving numerous passengers stranded.
Additionally, the Fairmont Palm Hotel on Palm Jumeirah was reportedly struck by a missile and caught fire; Burj Khalifa was urgently evacuated following a missile alert. The UAE has currently closed its airspace, severely disrupting flight operations and transportation.
