TechFlow News: On February 18, Vitalik Buterin, co-founder of Ethereum, posted on X stating that network-layer anonymity has long been a critical missing component in the development of privacy technologies—neither on-chain privacy solutions (e.g., Railgun) nor off-chain zero-knowledge applications (e.g., ZK API tickets) address this layer. He also noted that numerous application scenarios require relatively low bandwidth but are highly sensitive to latency; thus, achieving an effective balance between low latency and high anonymity is of significant importance for advancing related technical directions.
