TechFlow reports that on February 11, Bitget officially announced its security team recently discovered malicious plugins in ClawHub—the plugin marketplace for the popular AI tool OpenClaw. These plugins may trick users into copying commands or downloading “tools,” thereby installing Trojan malware to steal account credentials, API keys, or wallet data. To ensure security, Bitget urges users to avoid using third-party tools, plugins, or bots to connect to the exchange, and recommends conducting deposits, withdrawals, and trading exclusively via the official Bitget app or website. If you have previously authorized an API key, immediately reset it, change your password, and enable two-factor authentication (2FA).
