TechFlow News: On February 7, on-chain analyst Ai Aunt (@ai_9684xtpa) observed that the annual percentage rate (APR) for ETH borrowing on Ethereum lending protocol Aave surged significantly since yesterday—rising from 2.13% to a peak of 7.35%, an increase of 3.45x—and has since declined to 5.33%.
Data shows that Aave’s current ETH supply stands at 3.09 million ETH, representing 81.34% of its total supply cap; of this, 2.92 million ETH have already been borrowed, resulting in a borrowing utilization rate of 80.99%.
