TechFlow News, February 5: According to The Block, Kraken Institutional announced on February 5, 2026, the launch of its first custodial investment strategy—a professionally managed crypto yield solution for institutional clients—in partnership with Bitwise Asset Management.
This new offering, named the “Bitwise Custom Yield Strategy,” enables eligible institutional clients to earn yield while keeping their assets under Kraken’s custody. Primarily focused on Bitcoin, the strategy employs a covered call approach—generating yield by selling call options on Bitcoin holdings—while providing partial downside protection against price declines.
