TechFlow news: On January 30, according to a Twitter post by Vitalik Buterin, the Ethereum Foundation is entering a period of moderate contraction to achieve two goals: (1) ensuring Ethereum’s status as a high-performance, scalable world computer, and (2) securing the Foundation’s long-term sustainability. As a personal contribution, Vitalik has withdrawn 16,384 ETH, which he plans to deploy over the coming years to support open-source, secure, and verifiable full-stack software and hardware development across fields including finance, communications, blockchain, operating systems, and biotechnology.
