TechFlow News: On January 28, coinciding with Data Privacy Day, Bitget officially announced the appointment of MotoGP champion Jorge Lorenzo as its Security Ambassador. To mark this collaboration, Bitget and Lorenzo jointly launched a five-part security education video series, systematically covering key topics including phishing prevention, two-factor authentication (2FA), risk alerts, the Bitget Protection Fund, and Proof of Reserves (PoR). Drawing inspiration from Lorenzo’s signature “X-Fuera” racing perspective, the series illustrates how users—within the Unified Exchange (UEX) ecosystem—can enhance the safety and rationality of their trading decisions through broader visibility and richer information access.
The security education content is also integrated with Bitget’s Anti-Scam Center, which launched in June 2025 and continuously delivers real-time scam alerts and security tools to users. Currently, Bitget maintains a Protection Fund exceeding $300 million and publishes Merkle Tree-based Proof of Reserves on a monthly basis, ensuring full 1:1 backing for user assets.
Jorge Lorenzo stated that both motorsport and the digital asset industry demand precise balance between speed and security. Bitget CEO Gracy Chen added that this partnership aims to further strengthen users’ proactive security awareness regarding digital assets and drive ongoing progress across the industry in transparency and security standards.
