TechFlow News: On January 26, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) disclosed that SEC Chair Paul Atkins and Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) Chair Michael Selig will co-host an event at the CFTC headquarters on January 29 to discuss regulatory coordination between the two agencies and how to position the United States as the global hub for cryptocurrency.
The event will be open to the public and livestreamed on the SEC’s website. No registration is required for online participation, while in-person attendance requires advance registration. The agenda includes opening remarks by Chair Paul Atkins, introductory remarks by Chair Michael Selig, and a fireside chat moderated by Eleanor Terrett, Co-Founder and Host of “Crypto in America.”
