TechFlow news: On January 24, according to The Block, CertiK’s co-founder stated in an interview at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, that the cybersecurity firm—founded in 2018—is exploring potential paths to an initial public offering (IPO). “We don’t yet have a very specific IPO plan, but it is absolutely a goal we’re actively pursuing.”
CertiK’s most recent funding round occurred in 2022, when it raised $88 million in its Series B3 round led jointly by Insight Partners, Tiger Global, and Advent International, valuing the company at $2 billion. Earlier this month, CertiK announced a strategic partnership with YZi Labs.
Founded in 2018 and headquartered in New York, CertiK specializes in auditing blockchain smart contracts and collaborates with cryptocurrency companies to ensure the security of their products. Gu noted that the company has worked with over 5,000 clients and audited code securing approximately $600 billion in assets.
