TechFlow news, on December 17, the Blocto team announced that due to the FLOW token price plummeting from nearly $40 in 2021 to less than $0.30 today (a drop of over 99%), resulting in sustained losses exceeding $5.5 million, the Blocto wallet service will permanently cease operations on December 18, 2025, at 7:00 PM Pacific Standard Time.
Users must complete the following critical actions before the deadline:
- Withdraw all liquidity from BloctoSwap
- Bridge tUSDT (Flow) assets back to Ethereum via the Blocto Teleport bridge
- Custodial mode users must export their private keys and switch to non-custodial mode
Notably, Blocto staking services will continue operating; users can import their private keys into other wallet services to manage staked assets. The Blocto team warns that failure to complete the above actions by the deadline may result in permanent loss of asset access.
