TechFlow news, December 16 — According to Globenewswire, cryptocurrency exchange Paxful, which previously disclosed its agreement to plead guilty and pay a $7.5 million penalty, has now reached an agreement with the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) and the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN), and is scheduled to appear in court for sentencing on February 10, 2026. Paxful also announced that its exchange operations have ceased, but it will return remaining funds to users.
