TechFlow news, December 11 — According to Cointelegraph, the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) has become the installation site for the sixth "disappearing" statue of Satoshi Nakamoto created by artist Valentina Picozzi.
The statue was installed by bitcoin company Twenty One Capital, which began trading this week. The NYSE posted on X that the installation marks "common ground between emerging systems and traditional institutions."
Artist Picozzi, under her Satoshigallery account, said it was "mind-blowing" to have the statue placed in such a significant location, adding, "Even in our wildest dreams, we never imagined placing a statue of Satoshi Nakamoto here."
Picozzi plans to install 21 statues globally. So far, five have been erected in Switzerland, El Salvador, Japan, Vietnam, and Miami, USA.
