TechFlow, Dec 3 — According to Cointelegraph, the Georgian Ministry of Justice has signed a memorandum of understanding with public blockchain Hedera to explore migrating the country's land registry system onto the blockchain and enabling real estate tokenization.
In an announcement released on Monday, the Georgian Ministry of Justice stated that Minister Paata Salia met with representatives from Hedera to discuss integrating blockchain technology into public infrastructure. Georgian officials said they are considering transferring data from the National Public Registry to a blockchain network, aiming to "ensure greater protection of property rights, transparency, and reliability of processes."
